2021 Publication Award Deadline Approaching
Don’t miss your chance to nominate an outstanding early career researcher who has published a high impact manuscript in the past year. The ROI annually presents the Publication Award to the lead author of a research article that has the potential to change practice and demonstrates the lifesaving and quality-of-life benefits of radiation therapy. The deadline to submit nominations for the 2021 Publication Award is Friday, July 2, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time. Self-nominations are accepted, and all nominations must be submitted through ProposalCentral.
The ROI Publication Award winner will receive a $5,000 grant to build upon the research presented in the nominated manuscript. This year’s recipient will also be presented with the award during the ROI Celebration of Giving reception at the ASTRO Annual Meeting in Chicago and will be featured in a variety of promotional materials, including the next issue of The Visionary and on social media. Up to two Honorable Mentions will also be recognized.
Residents, fellows and researchers within ten years of completing their terminal training program are eligible for the ROI Publication Award. See the complete eligibility and criteria for more information or submit your nomination today!
