ROI Resources for Your Financial Planning

If you haven’t signed up for the ROI Financial Planning session at the ASTRO Annual Meeting in Chicago, you can arrive at McCormick Place, West, Room W180 before 6:45 a.m., on Sunday, September 15, to register and pay for the seminar at the check-in desk.

Changes in tax laws continue to make financial planning a challenge. This session will feature Russell M. LaGreca, CFP®, CRPS®, a financial planning expert from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney who will help attendees understand the implications of the tax laws and will have specific suggestions on strategies to minimize the amount of income tax that you pay.

Mr. LaGreca will cover how changes in the tax law will affect personal income, estate planning and charitable giving. He will discuss establishing donor-advised funds, making gifts of securities, and other approaches to charitable giving. Mr. LaGreca is a member of the J. K. Meek Group of Graystone Consulting in Baltimore, Maryland.

Even if you don’t make it to the seminar, you can meet with Mr. LaGreca, who will offer personal sessions from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Central time at the ROI Booth #808 in the Innovation and Solution Showcase. To sign up for a 30-minute session, please email Janet L. Hedrick or call her at 703-839-7340.

For assistance with financial planning, you can also visit our enhanced section on the ROI website about gift planning. You can use this new interactive resource to learn about the variety of ways that you can leave a legacy to the field of radiation oncology by making a planned gift to the ROI.
