2016 5K Run for the Future to Benefit the ROI

Online registration is now closed for the seventh annual 5K Run for the Future to Benefit the Radiation Oncology Institute (ROI). But, you can still register in-person at the Annual Meeting by visiting booth #9010 in the Exhibit Hall on Sunday, September 25, from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

This year's race will be held at ASTRO's Annual Meeting in Boston on Monday, September 26, 2016, at 6:30 AM (EST). Buses will depart from the Westin Boston Waterfront and the Boston Park Plaza at 5:30 AM (EST) on Monday to take runners to the starting line for a scenic course around Pleasure Bay and Castle Island in South Boston.

Every dollar donated by sponsorships and registration fees goes straight to the ROI. Support the ROI, and join the fun!

Radiation Business Solutions (RBS) established the Running Strong 5K Run for the Future to Benefit the ROI as a way to support the important research and education programs funded by the Institute.

"The ROI 5K is a great way to start the conference day, great for networking and it's for a great cause, but most of all it is a lot of fun." Matt McCurdy, MD, PhD, and six-time race champion.

In addition to competing for the individual titles, academic institutions and corporations may also compete in team challenges for additional prizes including scholarship money, trophies, and bragging rights! There is no cost to declare a team (other than the regular registration fees paid by the runner).

Register for the 2016 5K Run for the Future to Benefit the ROI at booth #9010 on Sunday, September 25th. And don't forget to pack your running shoes!
